This thrilling trek is famous for its astonishing Himalayan scenery and beauty. The Upper Langtang Valley is known as The Valley of Glaciers, sacred to the local people as a land that is free of the problems of the world. It is surrounded by the Langtang Range and astonishing glaciers. Attractions on this epic journey include the high settlements with monasteries and cheese factories: Kyangin Gompa and Sing Gomba. The route follows the Langtang Khola through lush jungle up idyllic mountain meadows with astonishing Tamang village of Langtang. We continue to Kyangin Gomba and a monastery, cheese factory and snowy peaks towering above it all. We take a day to explore the glorious surrounding terrain and then make our way back down the valley.

On our way back, we take a side route through more scenic villages to the astonishing settlement of Sing Gompa. This village has commanding views of the valley below, a cheese factory and a monastery. We ascend through more forests and then alpine highlands with marvelous views to the holy Gosainkunda lake, especially popular with Hindu pilgrims during the full moon of August.
