We continue to Kyangin Gomba and a monastery, cheese factory and snowy peaks towering above it all. We take a day to explore the glorious surrounding terrain and then make our way back down the valley.

This village has commanding views of the valley below, a cheese factory and a monastery. We ascend through more forests and then alpine highlands with marvelous views to the holy Gosainkunda lake, especially popular with Hindu pilgrims during the full moon of August.
