Trekking in the spectacular Langtang Valley ponders you with massive view of snowcapped mountains from Kathnmandu Valley.
The Langtang Valley is located only 19 miles north of Kathmandu, close to the border of Tibet. The highest peak in the Langtang region is Langtang Lirung (72455m). Most of the area in Langtang region is dominated by Langtag Lirung.
Langtang Trekking takes you through the forest of the Langtang valley to the alpine meadows and yak pastures around Kyangjin. When we reach the top of Kyangjin Ri, we can see wide range mountain views which is truly spectacular, we retrace our route back down the valley to Syabru Besi and then take a scenic drive to Kathmandu.
The Langtang trek towards the base of Langtang Himal offers the shortest approach to snowy mountains from Kathmandu. This trek starts from Syabru Besi after a 6-7 hours drive from Kathmandu. Following a trail upstream Bhote Koshi river through ethnic Tamang villages, lush green forests and the wide spread Kyangjin valley surrounded by snowy peaks from all four sides takes you upto the Kyangjin at 3800m. At this point you can also opt for the ascent to Kyangjin Ri.
Trekking in Langtang can be done any time of the year except during moonsoons (July and August).
